ABOUT DPUK

Hi, I’m Chloe - a FORMER professional DANCER TURNED PHYSIOTHERAPIST…

A young woman with long wavy brown hair smiling, wearing a navy blue The North Face zip-up jacket, against a plain light-colored background.

And now, I get to do so much more than just work in clinic…

As Co-Owner and Director of Prehab Performance Specialists — a central London physiotherapy clinic supporting West End shows, TV contracts and freelance performers — I have the privilege of leading a team dedicated to raising the standard of healthcare within the performing arts industry. I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and genuinely excited to continue growing a team that shares the same vision.

Beyond the clinic, I’m involved in projects across the UK that create safe, supportive and inspiring opportunities for the performer community.

From personally touring as a ballet dancer to now working behind the scenes to protect and enhance performers’ careers, I’ve seen first-hand how much more can be done — and improving that standard of care both in and out of the studio has been my mission ever since.

Being completely immersed in the dance world as well as having my own determination and traditional dance views, I struggled to manage my own body Holistically.

I HAVE NOW shaped and developed my career in a way that can offer optimised training to the Dancers of today

Whether you’re in the arts for recreation, training, or as a profession, there must be a space where both body and mind feel safe, supported and understood.

After stepping away from the industry myself, I retrained in physiotherapy and expanded my skillset to include Pilates, reformer, mindfulness, nervous system regulation and a range of complementary treatment approaches — allowing me to support performers in a truly integrated way.

Because before we are performers, we are human beings.

So, What now?

Yes, a solid and trusted physiotherapy clinic is essential — but my interest doesn’t stop at the treatment room door. I care deeply about what’s happening inside the studio. How are we preventing injuries before they happen? How are we supporting nervous system regulation under pressure? How are we creating environments where performers feel safe enough to speak up about pain, fatigue or mental strain?

True performer health requires more than reactive care — it requires collaboration.

I value working closely with the wider team surrounding a dancer: teachers, rehearsal directors, pointe shoe fitters and fellow healthcare professionals. Through an extended network, I also ensure access to specialist support for eating disorders and mental health, because sustainable performance depends on whole-person care.

When we strengthen the system around the performer, we strengthen the performer themselves.

I want to see a bigger change in the performING industry in both physical health and general wellbeing management.
